How We Work
Rombes provides practical support across GPSR compliance, customs brokerage, and wider compliance advisory services. Our process is designed to be clear, structured, and efficient from the outset.
1. Initial Consultation or Client Response Form
For GPSR, compliance or brokerage services, we recommend booking an initial call with us so that we can understand your business, products, target markets, and service requirements.
Alternatively, you can complete our Client Response Form, which allows us to review the key information before advising on the next steps.
2. Agreement and Draft Invoice
Once we have reviewed your requirements and confirmed that we are able to assist, we will send you a draft invoice and service agreement.
The agreement will set out the scope of work, the services to be provided, and the responsibilities of both parties. Work will commence once the agreement has been signed and the relevant payment arrangements have been completed.
3. Documentation Collection and Review
We will then begin collecting the relevant documentation for GPSR, compliance, and/or brokerage purposes.
Where clients do not already have the required documents in place, we can provide templates, control logs, and practical guidance as part of our advisory services. This may include support with product information, safety documentation, risk assessment materials, customs documents, or other relevant compliance records.
4. Reporting and Authority Liaison
Once the documentation has been reviewed and collated, we will prepare the relevant reports, records, or compliance files within the agreed scope of work.
Where required, we can also liaise with national authorities, market surveillance authorities, customs authorities, or relevant third parties in connection with GPSR, compliance, or brokerage support.
5. Ongoing Support
After onboarding, we will keep in contact and provide updates where required. We can also offer ongoing advisory support monthly, depending on the package or service agreed.
This allows clients to stay informed, maintain better records, and receive practical support as their business, product range, or cross-border requirements develop.
